Techno festival October 2026: France and Spain picks

🇫🇷 France: everything builds to Halloween

On the French side, October reads like a climb. The month starts in the clubs, stops for an unusual Sunday in the Doubs, and ends on the two biggest hard bills of the autumn, on the same weekend, at opposite ends of the country.

Villepinte or Marseille, 30 and 31

This is the call of the month. Dream Nation fills the Parc des Expositions in Villepinte with Angerfist, Korsakoff, Da Tweekaz and a bass wing held by Pendulum and Netsky. Walking Bass answers from Parc Chanot with Vladimir Cauchemar, Lil Texas and Medusa. Hardstyle and hardcore up north, hard techno and multi-genre rave down south: for once, the choice really is about style.

Lyon, 23:59 twice

The Lyon crew frames its city's month: two days of hard techno on the beach at Miribel on the 10th and 11th, then a night co-produced with Encore in the main hall of the Halle Tony Garnier on the 24th, with Vieze Asbak, Natte Visstick, SLVL and USH. For the Halle, the early tiers are gone and the last one is €49.

Kodz, from the 3rd to the 31st

On the edge of Lille, Kodz opens and closes the month. On the 3rd, Verknipt puts on its first French night there with BLNK and LIEKS. On the 31st, KLOFAMA plays six hours solo.

Arc-et-Senans, the 11th

The only date in this guide that is neither a club night nor a festival: Jeff Mills at the Saline Royale, on a Sunday, at a UNESCO-listed site. From €37, and no other bill this month looks anything like it.

🇪🇸 Spain: the season closes in two stages

In Spain, most of the month sits in its first half. Ibiza drops the curtain, Catalonia follows with its heaviest hard event, and Madrid keeps control to the end.

Ibiza, the 4th to the 8th

On Sunday the 4th, Carl Cox and Pyramid close on the same night, at [UNVRS] and Amnesia. On Thursday the 8th, ArtCore fills [UNVRS] with I Hate Models, Kobosil and Indira Paganotto, €45 to €55. The island spent the summer on house; its last days are the hardest.

Duro then CODE, the 10th and 11th

Duro Festival sets up three stages in Montmeló, near the Circuit de Catalunya, with Klangkuenstler, Kobosil, Ben Klock and Vendex. On the Sunday night, CODE turns 23 at Fabrik: twelve hours, five stages, from Kevin Saunderson to Phase Fatale. Klangkuenstler is on both bills, twenty-four hours apart.

Madrid, the 24th

Same Saturday, two worlds: 150 by Fabrik hands its main room to Dual Damage's hardcore, while Pont Aeri brings the residents who built Catalan makina in the 90s to El Sótano. Two takes on speed in the same Madrid night.

🔁 Who crosses the border this month

Put the two calendars side by side and routes appear. Clara Cuvé is at the Open Rave in Toulouse on Saturday the 10th and at Fabrik for CODE on Sunday the 11th. BLNK opens the month at Kodz with Verknipt and picks it up again in Madrid for 150 on the 24th. Vieze Asbak, Natte Visstick and Toxic Machinery are billed at Duro, then at the Halle Tony Garnier two weeks later. SLVL goes from Circus Nation, near Granada, on the 3rd to Lyon on the 24th. And Dual Damage follows Fabrik on the 24th with the Dream Nation and Walking Bass bills the week after.
