Techno festival Spain 2026: the full October agenda

🏝️ Ibiza closes the season

House rules the island all summer, which is exactly why we make an exception here: early October is a run of closing parties, and the last week saves the hardest date of the year.

Carl Cox closing at [UNVRS], 4 October

Fifteen Sundays since 21 June, and the last one carries just two names: Carl Cox and Melon Bomb, who opened most of the season's dates. After Sundays that hosted Sasha & Digweed, Louie Vega or Capriati, the closing is deliberately the most stripped-back of all. 11:30pm to 6am, 18+.

Pyramid closing at Amnesia, 4 October

Same Sunday, different club: Villalobos, Raresh and Franco Cinelli on the Terraza, the minimal core the Pyramid series leaned on all summer. Nina Kraviz, Seth Troxler and Shanti Celeste take the other room. Nine names, €60, 11pm to 6am. You'll have to pick between Cox and Villalobos, and the pick says everything about you.

ArtCore at [UNVRS], 8 October

Once the groove residencies have switched off, ArtCore puts up the hardest bill of the Ibiza season: I Hate Models, Kobosil, Azyr, Anna Unusyan and Indira Paganotto, whose brand it is. Five names, no soft slot, 11:30pm to 6am, €45 to €55. If one date on the island is worth a flight in October, it falls on a Thursday, and it's this one.

🎪 October festivals on the mainland

Duro Festival, 10 and 11 October

Catalonia's biggest hard techno event returns to Espai Can Guitet in Montmeló, right next to the Circuit de Catalunya, across three stages: Duro Stage, Cargo Stage and Black Hangar. Duro puts Klangkuenstler on top on Saturday, with Andres Campo b2b Future.666, Cera Khin and Kruelty's hardcore. Sunday belongs to Kobosil, Vendex and Onlynumbers, with Ben Klock and Chlär holding the Black Hangar while Rooler, Krowdexx and Anderex push the Cargo Stage towards rawstyle. Kobosil lands here three days after ArtCore.

Jarrera Weekender, 9 to 11 October

Three days of hard sound spread over three rooms in Bilbao and Barakaldo: Sala Raw, Bilborock and Gold Fever. The Jarrera Weekender lines up Dub Elements, Las Diñas, Pandemic, Monru b2b Benzex, a Batcave showcase and the local hardcore scene. The most Basque format of the month, and the only one in this guide that moves the crowd from venue to venue.

The rest of the month happens in clubs, and Madrid takes the biggest share.

🎧 Club nights: Madrid leads

Planetary Assault Systems live at LAB theCLUB, 2 October

Crow Techno Club opens its season at LAB theCLUB, on the first floor of Chamartín station, with Planetary Assault Systems live, 11:59pm to 6am. Luke Slater's machine alias, thirty years of Peacefrog and Mote-Evolver material, played live rather than as a DJ set.

Surgeon at The Bassement, 3 October

Nørbak brings his Décima concept to The Bassement and invites Surgeon, the Birmingham figure who has defined industrial techno since the mid-90s. 11pm to 6am, €25, 18+. Two weeks earlier, Laster hosted Ben Sims and Oscar Mulero.

Circus Nation at 20, 3 October

Same night, at the other end of the country: Circus Nation turns twenty at Complejo Embrujo, near Granada. Chris Liebing, James Ruskin, Umek and Lewis Fautzi on the techno side, Evil Nine and Serial Killaz on the breaks side. An anniversary bill that happily mixes the two.

Anthony Rother at Specka, 10 October

The German electro producer plays Specka with Uhf, 11:59pm to 6am. Three decades of drum machines and vocoders, in the line that runs back to Kraftwerk. €18 to €30, 18+.

CODE turns 23 at Fabrik, 11 October

CODE splits its birthday into three nights, and the first takes over all of Fabrik: twelve hours, five stages, twenty-eight names. Kevin Saunderson and Kenny Larkin for the Detroit source, Octave One live, Chris Liebing, SPFDJ, Phase Fatale and FJAAK for the hardest present, Valentino Kanzyani on vinyl only and Kuko all night long on his own stage. Klangkuenstler turns up the day after Duro.

150 by Fabrik, 24 October

150 is the hardest night Fabrik puts on, and the October edition hands its main room to Dual Damage and his Built 2 Break tour, 10pm to 6am. Incult and The Straikerz 777 live, Phuture Noize, The Dark Horror and The Saints around them, then three areas of raw, industrial and uptempo with BLNK, KRUELTY, Pinotello or Major Conspiracy. Promotional tickets from €25.

Pont Aeri at El Sótano, 24 October

Same Saturday, another Madrid: Pont Aeri comes down to El Sótano with DJ Skudero, Xavi Metralla and Monty, 11:59pm to 6am. The Terrassa club gave Catalonia its makina sound in the 90s, and these are the residents who built it. €18 to €25. If you want a Saturday where hardcore and makina cross paths in the same city, this is it.
