When the warm months arrive, French techno moves outdoors. In Lyon, the 23:59 and Encore collectives stack open-airs, day into night. In Paris, Kilomètre25 opens its open-air ground under the ring road (Accident Theory hosts Baugruppe90 there), while the Peacock Society sets up its festival outdoors. Further north, near Lille, Kodz brings its Open Air x 23:59 to Englos. From dayparties to raves that tip into the night, open-air is the format of the summer.
