🇫🇷 France: two Fridays and a Tuesday

On the French side, November doesn't read as a climb but as two peaks. The first Friday of the month stacks the dates, the third scatters them outside Paris, and in between a Tuesday night of rawstyle in Lille stands on its own.

Friday 6, five dates

Three in Paris and two in the regions on the same night. MOTUS XXL takes all three rooms of La Rotonde Stalingrad with eighteen names, Virage puts Phase Fatale and David Carretta under the ring road for €13, Le Trabendo hosts the Pitchfork club night with Aamourocean. In Toulouse, Karnage celebrates ten years of Madback Records at Le Rex for €10; in Marseille, Kenny Larkin plays five hours solo at Petit Cab. A Friday where everyone has a good reason not to be in the same place.

Friday 20, outside Paris

Two weeks later, the month leaves the capital. Nico Moreno takes the Cité du Cinéma in Saint-Denis alone on the bill, for €44.40, the most expensive ticket in the pack. Organïk closes its year at the Nantes Warehouse with Jazzy and Yoshiko up front, and Moontrip turns ten in Balma, near Toulouse, with ten DJs in five b2bs for ten euros. Same night, 23:59 is at Le Petit Salon in Lyon: four cities, none of them Paris.

Kodz, Tuesday 10

The hardest date in this pack falls on a Tuesday, the eve of the 11 November bank holiday: ROOLER, Dual Damage, INCULT, GHOSTY and ENASTORM at Kodz, just outside Lille, for 23:59. Rawstyle and hardstyle, 18+. If you keep only one hard night of the month in France, it's this one.

Saturday 21, Pantin or rue Philippe de Girard

The last big Paris Saturday plays out at two addresses. At Terminus in Pantin, Cult Collective and Le Diable Au Corps put on a night of mental tekno and acid, seven artists for €18.99. At essaim, Skee Mask and Vlada play b2b until 6:30am, €20 presale then door tickets. Hardcore on one side, techno and breaks on the other: two nights that look nothing alike, a few metro stops apart.

🇪🇸 Spain: four Saturdays, two marathons

In Spain, the month counts in Saturdays. Barcelona opens and closes, Madrid holds the middle with two twelve-hour formats, and Valencia slips an all night long in between.

Fury at Razzmatazz, Sunday 1

Halloween night stretches one more day in Barcelona: Fury Festival opens four rooms of Razzmatazz from 5pm, Art of Fighters leading, Vortek's, Lady Dammage, Revenja, Pinotello and Samuel Moriero behind, from €22.50. The only event typed as a festival in the whole pack, and the only one that starts in daylight.

Madrid, twelve hours twice

On Saturday 7, Laster Club turns five at The Bassement from 6pm to 6am, red light, phones away, Alarico and Blasha & Allatt on the bill, €25. On Saturday 21, Teletech runs the same length at The Garage but by day, 1pm to 1am, with Trym, Azyr b2b BLK. and Natte Visstick, €20. Two marathons in one month, and Paris has none.

Héctor Oaks, Valencia then Fabrik

The Berlin-based resident does two Spanish Saturdays in a row: all night long at Spook in Valencia on the 7th, Egyptian Lover on the same bill, then CODE's 23rd birthday at Fabrik on the 14th, part two of La Trilogía, where he is the only name announced so far. Part one, in October, lined up twenty-eight names: wait for the full bill.

Barcelona, Saturday 28

The month closes on a Barcelona choice. On the Plaza Mayor of the Poble Espanyol, Drumcode ends the Hivernacle season with Adam Beyer, Anna Tur, Bart Skils and Marco Faraone, 10pm to 4am. In L'Hospitalet, Ecch-Ode invites Dave Angel and Drivetrain to Village Underground for €15. The Swedish label on one side, the Detroit lineage on the other, at opposite ends of the city.

🔁 The ones crossing the border this month

Putting the two calendars side by side brings out three tight journeys. Jazzy leads the Nantes Warehouse with Organïk on Friday 20 and plays Teletech in Madrid on Saturday 21, from the afternoon. Vortek's and Samuel Moriero are at Walking Bass in Marseille on Saturday 31 October and at Razzmatazz for Fury on Sunday 1. Bad Boombox and Mija open the month at Nitsa with Hot Meal on the 6th and end it at Mia Mao in Paris on the 21st, with Mischluft added.

Three more names make the trip a month apart: Kenny Larkin and Phase Fatale, both at Fabrik for part one of CODE's 23rd birthday on 11 October, land in France on the same Friday 6, one at Petit Cab in Marseille, the other at Virage. Blasha & Allatt, leading the 23:59 Weekender in Lyon on 10 and 11 October, hold Laster Club's fifth birthday in Madrid on the 7th.
