Input, full name INPUT High Fidelity Dance Club, is Barcelona's purist techno club. Set inside the Poble Espanyol, on Avinguda de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, it built its reputation on sound alone : a circular floor tuned to a Funktion-One system, 360-degree LED visuals. No frills, just high fidelity.
The line is demanding underground techno, far from easy headliners. During the Off Week around Sónar, Input lines up the big names : Fatima Hajji brings her Invites (hard techno), Joris Voorn runs his Spectrum night with Bart Skils. Friday and Saturday, midnight to 6am.
Alongside Nitsa, Input carries the sharp, curated side of Barcelona, the opposite of the big tourist format. You come for the sound, not the decor : it's the room where the city's heads judge a system.
