Uptempo is hardcore pushed past 200 BPM, the far end of the hard spectrum, where the kick stops being a rhythm and becomes a wall. Melody barely survives it. On calrave it lives on festival stages and on the bigger collective nights rather than in clubs, because it needs a room that can take that volume.
Skullcore carries it in Bordeaux, Thunder in Paris, Nantes Rave Techno at home in Nantes. You will also find it on mixed bills : Angerfist plays Galactica in Ibiza on 25 August, the only hardcore booking on the island this season, and Jarrera Weekender takes it to Bilbao in October with Dub Elements and Las Diñas.
