🎆 Techno New Year's Eve in Paris: three nights, three tempos
Three nights on the 31st in our base for Paris and its suburbs, and no two alike. Two come from the same promoter, RAW, behind both Fluid at Mia Mao and GRÜV in a venue kept secret. The third leaves Paris for the Essonne. For the rest of the year, the club tour is in our guide to where to go out for techno in Paris.
Fluid NYE at Mia Mao, 23:00 to 07:00
Fluid closes 2026 on hardbounce and hardcore, with Majes, ANDATA, ADB, Bêtises and a Kuki b2b AMRK. Mia Mao, by the Canal de l'Ourcq in the 19th, lists 3,000 square metres and keeps its house rule: no photos, no videos. Three tiers at 20, 25 and 30 euros. It is the fastest night on this list, and the only one inside Paris whose address and full bill you already know.
GRÜV NYE, secret venue in Paris, 23:00 to 07:00
GRÜV hands its last night of the year to RUIZ OSC1, who curates and plays the crew's New Year's Eve with Elli Acula, Antigone, KALTBLUME and Alex Nantaya. Techno, 18+, and an address that comes later: the poster only says "Secret Place, Paris". No price published yet. Take it if Antigone's name is enough for you to buy without knowing the room.
Illusion NYE XXL Rave at the Grand Dôme in Villebon, 20:00 to 07:00
Eleven hours of hard techno and hardcore: Illusion has finally named its venue, the Grand Dôme in Villebon-sur-Yvette, in the Essonne. Creeds and Rooler on top, then Santøs, Dikke Baap, Night Owl and a Dalwen b2b Geerson; three names stay masked on the poster, due between mid-November and mid-December. Tickets from 26 euros. The organiser announces RER B and C running all night on the 31st and shuttles from Massy-Palaiseau station, which settles the way home.
🗺️ Techno New Year outside Paris: Nantes and Marseille
Past the Paris region, the 31st gathers in two cities. Nantes lines up a club open sixteen hours straight and a night at 10 euros, Marseille two XXL formats of opposite sizes. City agendas are on techno in Nantes and techno in Marseille.
Macadam, Nantes: two nights, 31 December to 2 January
Macadam opens NYE 2027: Dark Deco, Pearls & Feathers at 22:00 on the 31st and only closes at 14:00 on New Year's Day, with Jenny Cara, Malo Z, Aasana, Maï-Linh, Solma, Carbøne and Frange Intellectuelle. Nine hours off, then the club goes again on Friday 1 January at 23:00 with UNIVR.S, a Katze b2b Doe Grise, and Vaälha, until 09:30 according to its own agenda. More than twenty-six hours open across two nights. No price published on either date; ticketing goes through the club's site.
Cane Corso x Rayquaza at Le Ferrailleur, Nantes, 22:00 to 05:00
Cane Corso Records and Rayquaza bring their two collectives together at Le Ferrailleur, on the Quai des Antilles: bdstf and MARIAD lead seven names, between techno and dubstep. At 10 to 15 euros it is the cheapest door in this whole guide, and the only night on the list where dubstep shares the bill with techno.
Omerta x Cabaret Aléatoire: New Year XXL Act II, Marseille, 22:00 to 06:00
After a first act announced as sold out last year, Omerta, Cabaret Aléatoire and Drakhard do it again at the Friche la Belle de Mai: eight hours on two stages on Funktion-One, 1,500 ravers, between techno, hard trance and hard techno. 19 euros, and not one artist name out yet. You are buying a format and a sound system, not a bill.
PH4 Records: No Escape NYE at La Plateforme, Marseille, 23:00 to 06:00
PH4 Records goes bigger. No Escape NYE, The Grand Final takes over La Plateforme, the former Dock des Suds, with two rooms open at once (the Cabaret Rouge and the Salle des Sucres) and a secret stage announced during the night. The label expects more than 4,000 people. Wolk and BenzØ are the first names, 25 euros.
Elsewhere, nothing firm. As of 6 November, Resident Advisor lists no techno or hard night on the 31st in Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse or Montpellier. In Lille, Patate Douce has announced its New Year, with no venue or lineup for now. Those cities enter this guide as soon as a poster is out.
🍇 New Year's Eve raves in Spain: Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia
First habit to pick up: in Spain, the night of the 31st starts late. Three of the four nights below open at 23:59, the twelve midnight grapes get eaten at home first. Full agendas are on techno in Barcelona and techno in Madrid.
Les Enfants pres. tINI and the gang, Barcelona, 23:59 to 06:00
Les Enfants Brillants, the room on Carrer de Guàrdia, hands its New Year's Eve to tINI and the gang: tINI b2b Angel D'lite, Peach, and a secret guest b2b C.ru.z. Techno and electro, 40 euros, 21+. The club does not stop there: it also runs a stage the next day at Output, further down this guide.
Diffuse Reality: New Year's Eve, secret warehouse in Barcelona, 23:00 to 11:00
Twelve hours in a warehouse whose address is not public: the label Diffuse Reality keeps its format, Squaric the only name announced, no photo and no video policy. 45 euros, advance tickets only, nothing at the door. If you plan to decide on the night, this is not the one.
Plus One x Studio76, Madrid, midnight to 10:00
The densest techno bill on the Spanish list: Svreca and Stanislav Tolkachev on top, then Systematic Method, Saint Sinner, Jesus Riaño, Kevin Matto and Ali-Az. Venue still to be announced, on a Void Acoustics system. 20 euros for ten hours: the cheapest of the four Spanish New Year's Eve nights in this guide.
NYE Special-k at Spook Club, Valencia, from 23:59
At Spook Club, in Pinedo, Special-k lines up eighteen names between minimal and dub techno, Olga Korol heading the poster, with The Ghost, Felipe Valenzuela and Camiel Daamen. Three tiers at 30, 40 and 50 euros. This is the side step of the guide: if you are after hard sounds, move on.
📅 1 January, Spain's real techno New Year
That is what our base shows: five of the six New Year's Day dates are in Spain. Two play out in daylight around Barcelona, three open at 18:00 in Madrid. If you can only go out once, the 1st in Spain carries heavier bills than the 31st.
Output NYD with Richie Hawtin, Diverbosc (Barcelona), 13:00 to 21:00
Output opens the year in broad daylight at Diverbosc, in Cerdanyola del Vallès. Open-air forest stage: Richie Hawtin, Adiel, Flug and Laia. Club stage, run by Les Enfants Brillants and checkpoint: Red Axes, a secret guest b2b Ivan Smagghe, Charlotte, and Sampol b2b Raf & Rod. 40 euros, 18+. It ends at 21:00: you can sleep on the 31st and go out on the 1st.
Unreal New Years Day Rave, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, 14:00 to 02:00
Unreal Germany sets up its New Year's Day rave on the Montmeló racing circuit, with elrow as co-promoter. Twelve hours, 39 euros, and a lineup sold blind: no name is out. The slot overlaps Output's almost entirely, so you will have to pick.
Blackworks New Year's Day Festival, Leganés (Madrid), 18:00 to 08:00
Fourteen hours of hard techno at La Cubierta de Leganés: Blackworks opens its 2027 in the covered arena, Holy Priest and Restricted the first names, more to come. No price published on Resident Advisor so far. The longest date on 1 January, and the only one in arena format.
Laster Club: New Year's Day curated by Oscar Mulero, The Bassement (Madrid), 18:00 to 06:00
Laster Club leaves the keys to Oscar Mulero: twelve hours "under the red light" of The Bassement, Mulero the only confirmed name, the lineup he invites still to be announced. 40 euros, 18+, phones banned on the dancefloor. At the same hour in the same city, Joseph Capriati plays twelve hours at Fitz Club for Start (22+, price not published): Madrid makes you choose between three 18:00 openings.
💸 New Year prices and tickets: what is already set
Of the seventeen nights in this guide, twelve show a price. The scale runs from 10 euros (first tier of Cane Corso x Rayquaza) to 50 euros (last tier of Special-k). In France everything sits between 10 and 30 euros; in Spain, between 20 and 50. GRÜV, both Macadam nights, Blackworks and Capriati have published nothing yet.
This guide moves with the announcements: the lineups of Omerta, Blackworks and Laster are expected, and cities without a date enter as soon as a poster is out. Until then, the full calendar is on all techno events in France and in Spain.
