🎚️ Who they are
Le Coven is not one more collective, it's a federation. A band of underground crews from the Lille area who joined forces under a single banner, with a fully owned witch aesthetic : the name, the esoteric market at their events, the occult imagery. Where the northern scene tends to think in clubs and big Belgian sound systems, Le Coven plays the coalition card and a slightly ritual kind of party. This is Lille, a stone's throw from the cross-border Belgian scene, but with an identity that looks like nobody else's around here.
🔊 The sound
The spectrum is wide and it leans hard and psychedelic : trance and psytrance, acid, hardcore and gabber, plus a heavy dose of dub and sound system culture. Less club techno than federation rave, where each member crew brings its own colour.
Because that is the real thing about Le Coven : the federation gathers around ten collectives that each keep their own line, Feathers in Dub, Chez Mamie, Lilla Records, Light'n'vibes, Arkam, La Déviance Crou, Raverie, Bastardz Crew, Razmotek. A Coven bill is several of these crews on the same day, not an imported line-up. The model is co-operative, run by an association, the opposite of a single promoter booking from the top.
🏛️ The Blue Moon Festival
The flagship is the Blue Moon Festival. First edition on 31 May 2026, 2 PM to 11 PM, in a venue that does half the work : Le Phare de Tourcoing, a deconsecrated church. Gabber and trance under a nave, the idea is as good on paper as on the floor. The festival is not just music : an esoteric market, exhibitions, VJing and light shows round out the day, true to the coven DNA.
Before the main day, Le Coven ran a psytrance Before at the Bistrot de St So in Lille. Classic federation mechanics : warm the city up first, then go all in on the big format.
📍 Where to catch them
Le Coven works the Lille metro area, between Lille and Tourcoing. Blue Moon is annual, so the next edition falls year to year : the simplest way to follow dates and grab tickets is their HelloAsso association page. The collective's agenda on calrave tracks the next announcements.
