🎚️ Who they are
Nexus is Madrid's big hard gathering : an indoor festival run by 150, the hard music brand of Fabrik, going since 2022. Not a roaming rave, not an open air : one night, one room, but on festival scale. Home base is Fabrik, in Humanes de Madrid, on the southern edge of the capital : the country's largest venue, the one that can swallow fifty-plus artists across eighteen hours without breaking a sweat. The 2024 edition, its third, already ran over two days with Timmy Trumpet, Angerfist, D-Block & S-te-Fan and Brennan Heart. 150 calls it Spain's biggest hard festival, and nobody really argues.
🔊 The sound
One thing to clear up first : Nexus is not hard techno. It's hard dance, the hardstyle lineage. Pounded kicks, euphoric or raw leads, tempo climbing : the bill covers hardstyle, uptempo and hardcore, all the way to the harshest end of the spectrum. This is the scene that fills rooms classic techno never touches, its own crowd, its own codes. If you're after minimal or dub techno, keep walking ; if you want the loudest wall of kicks in Spain, you're in the right place.
🏛️ 150, Fabrik's hard house
To get Nexus, you have to get 150. It's Fabrik's hard series, a recurring night that has celebrated several birthdays and run Sub Zero Project, Warface, Hard Driver, Sefa and Wildstylez through the room. Nexus is the step up : the same crew, in festival format once a year. Fabrik itself isn't single-genre : the same venue hosts the techno of the Carl Cox anniversary or nights from the collective CODE. 150 is its hard pole, the one flying the hardstyle flag in a city where the rest of the scene leans techno.
📍 Nexus Festival 2026 and the agenda
The next date is Nexus Festival 2026, Saturday 13 June at Fabrik, noon to 6am : eighteen hours of hard music, from 45€. The headline turns heads : Project One, the reunion of Headhunterz and Wildstylez, one of hardstyle's most anticipated comebacks. Around them, Showtek, Da Tweekaz, Darren Styles, Radical Redemption, Ophidian and over fifty names in all.
