Encore, big-format techno promoter at Halle Tony Garnier
Encore is the promoter scaling Lyon techno to arena size, filling the Halle Tony Garnier with big-format nights. With the x model (Encore x 23:59, Teletech x Encore), it runs from a free Fête de la Musique open-air on 21 June to a hard techno XXL with Vieze Asbak and Toxic Machinery on 24 October 2026.

🎚️ Who they are
Encore is the promoter that scaled Lyon techno up to arena size. Not another underground collective : a big-format outfit that fills the large rooms of the Lyon scene, starting with the Halle Tony Garnier. And Encore rarely moves alone. Its model is the "x" : Encore x 23:59 with the local hard techno crew, Teletech x Encore with the international techno brand. A promoter that works as an amplifier for others.
🔊 The sound
Techno and hard techno, on bills built for the big room. Encore books heavy : 999999999 and Shlømo for January's Teletech edition, Sara Landry in spring, Vieze Asbak, SLVL and Toxic Machinery for autumn. But the programming covers the whole spectrum, from the hardest to the most accessible : in the same year, Encore runs a late-night Hard Techno Edition and a free, fully groovy and bouncy open-air for Fête de la Musique. Few French promoters play that wide.
🏛️ The Halle Tony Garnier
Encore's masterstroke is the venue. The Halle Tony Garnier is the vast concrete-and-steel hall designed by Lyon architect Tony Garnier, usually given over to rock concerts and trade fairs. Encore drops a techno sound system inside and turns it into an arena for a night. Taking on that capacity means owning the big-format bet in a city that mostly ran on clubs (Le Sucre) and warehouses. For the crowd, it changes everything : top-tier techno without heading up to Paris or crossing the border.

Two dates ahead, two faces of Encore. On Sunday 21 June, the Fête de la Musique Open Air on the Halle forecourt, free, 4pm to 11pm, a groovy and bouncy lineup.
