The venues

Sala Cosmos, in the Nervión district, is the city's underground temple (350 capacity, Thursday and Saturday) : techno, house, electro, national and international DJs, with dates booked through June 2026. Elysium, opened in late 2025 fifteen minutes from the centre, changes the scale : 1700 capacity, an L-Acoustics sound system, an industrial nave across two floors plus a terrace, techno, hard techno, tech house and breakbeat. Fury played its first Seville date there in March 2026, sold out.

Malandar Music Club, on Avenida Torneo since 2005, mixes concerts and alternative clubbing (house, tech-house, organic techno), rooted in the other Seville.

The reference nights

No techno festival identified ahead in Seville for 2026 : February's Elrow XXL Carnaval and March's Fury x Elysium are already done. So the scene plays out in clubs, week after week.

Cosmos runs its Thursdays and Saturdays, Elysium has brought the big format since late 2025, and Malandar stretches the night after its gigs. It's a club-night scene more than a festival one, young and accelerating fast.

Heat rules everything

Seville is the Spanish city where heat dictates the culture. In July and August the thermometer often passes 40°C and the night only really starts after midnight, sometimes 2am, with afters running until noon. When Madrid is already dancing, Seville is barely warming up.

The techno scene here is younger and more emerging than in Madrid or Barcelona (Elysium only opened in late 2025), but it carries something Andalusian : a tension between the flamenco heritage (the long night, improvisation, collective intensity) and a rave culture grafted on later. A heavily student city (70,000 enrolled at the Universidad de Sevilla), it feeds a lively local scene that's still barely exported. Seville dates surface in the list opposite week after week.
