🎚️ From Karlsruhe to Barcelona, from illegal parties to a real structure

240 KM/H formally launched in 2021 at Club Gotec in Karlsruhe, Germany. Before that, the project reportedly started as informal illegal parties, by the founders' own words in a Flaix FM interview. Three heads at the core : Adrián Mills (DJ and producer, alias 2HIGH, most visible face), Javier Navarro a.k.a. Javi Navarritu (CEO and strategist), and Toskano (third founding pillar). The collective and label then moved to Barcelona, which became its base of operations. Today, 240 KM/H is one of the engines of the Barcelona techno scene, alongside Duro, Fury and KINYXX.

🔊 The manifesto : twice the legal speed

The name is no accident. Spain's motorway limit is 120 km/h. 240 km/h is twice that. It's also the whole manifesto of the collective : give twice what the standardised industry imposes, break out of the frame, refuse the established rules. The musical line follows : techno and hard techno, with a curation rigour that's rare, not a wall of kicks without thought. Bookings pull upward, blending national exponents (the Spanish techno scene) with hand-picked international guests.

🤝 Face2Face : the signature format, exported across 4 continents

Beyond the label and the standard events, 240 KM/H popularised a specific format : the **Face2Face** (F2F). Split booth in two sides, two artists facing each other and trading sets across the same night. Not a classic B2B, more of an electronic duel. The format has gone global : over 300 DJs worldwide have played it, at festivals like Monegros, Germany's Hive Festival, Rotterdam Rave, Baum Festival in Bogotá and Unreal NYE in Cologne. Last November, 240 KM/H x PARA presented an F2F night at Edelfettwerk in Hamburg with Azyr, Adrián Mills, Zwilling, Extendo, Elon Bass and Heggemann. A visual signature as recognisable as the programming.

📍 240 KM/H in 2026
